Laughter can add years to your life they say and what better way to get some laughs in than a comedic movie for the ages. That’s exactly what Hera Pheri is to audiences across India. The movie makes us laugh heartily and have us leaving in splits. From Paresh Rawal’s iconic Baburao character that often said, “Ye Baburao ka style hai” to Akshay Kumar’s comedic timing and Sunil Shetty ignorant yet endearing innocence at the goings on in the movie.

Priyadarshan raised the comedic bar drawing inspiration from David Dhawan and made side-splitting complex comedies that kept aside the crass factor and had the audiences rooting for the characters. The humor was dark at times in the first two films but the audiences have always lapped it up. Every Bollywood comedy ever since has been influenced by this gem and has also been a potent factor in changing the careers of the director and the actors involved.

Hera Pheri 3 has been a long time coming with audiences waiting for it to come out since the last 11 years! That seems to be a long and arduous wait but fans can be thrilled at the prospect of watching the story go forward with their beloved characters. This third installment of the movie was supposed to roll out by the end of last year after much buzz that was created by the release of a picture in June with John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Neha Sharma that went viral.

Sunil Shetty went a step ahead and informed the media that Hera Pheri 3 would release once Neeraj Vora the screenplay writer that made the hit movies, would get back on his feet after recovering from a coma. Also, Akshay Kumar has reportedly been replaced by John Abraham. Whereas, Neha Sharma and Urvashi Rautela were approached to play second and third lead in the film. So the audiences are in for something new and exciting from these delightful and seasoned actors.

The Hera Pheri films can be revisited endlessly, from point to point or even in its entirety. Bollywood of late has fallen in love with the concept of sequels with films like Tanu weds Manu, Golmaal, Dabangg, and Housefull to name a few.

So if you are one of the few fans that were disappointed with the abrupt ending of Phir Hera Pheri or even a fan with a lot of questions about what happens next then wait for this crazy laugh riot that’ll have you in splits. If you’re like me, you might just get an answer to your OCD of not being able to bear incomplete things after all! Whatever your reasons, this is one movie for the ages and shouldn’t be missed!
